WARNINGS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:

Excessive or long-term use of Green Mate should be avoided. Ingesting hot drinks of Green Mate over long periods of time is linked to oesophageal cancer. This seems to be related to chronic thermal injury rather than to a pharmacological effect but caution is advised, especially with substantial alcohol intake and heavy smoking. Caution is advised in patients with anxiety and bleeding disorders. Caution is advised in patients with cardiac conditions orhypertension as SLIMMING DRAGEES® might induce tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmias and increase blood pressure.  Caution is advised in diabetic patients as SLIMMING DRAGEES® might interfere with blood sugar levels.

INTERACTIONS:

Metabolic clearance of the caffeine in Green Mate may be increased or decreased with other medicines such as Cimetidine and Disulfiram. Theoretically the caffeine in Green Mate might increase the effects of amphetamines, anticoagulants, beta-adrenergic agonists, clozapine and ephedrine. Patients should avoid taking SLIMMING DRAGEES® with ephedrine and other stimulants due to the risk of serious side effects such as hypertension, myocardial infarction, stroke, seizures and death. Theoretically concomitant use of SLIMMING DRAGEES® and anti-diabetic medication might interfere with blood sugar control.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:

Do not use when planning pregnancy, pregnant or breastfeeding.  Safety and/or efficacy has not be established
