Composition:

Indications:

Activated vegetable charcoal adsorbs (binds to) toxins and gas, which may cause bloating and flatulence in the gastro-intestinal tract.

Dosage and directions for use:

One to three capsules three times daily as needed or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Precautions, Contra-indications and Side Effects:

If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients you should not take this product. Stop taking this product if any adverse reaction occurs. Patients taking any other medication should consult their healthcare professional before taking any complementary medicine.

Charcoal is not digested or absorbed into the bloodstream and therefore has a wide margin of safety. As charcoal may also adsorb medicine it should not be taken for two hours before or after taking any medication. Charcoal may cause your stools to be black.
