Pegasus Liver 30C – 25g Animal

Indications: Supporting the liver generally but attending Hepatitis, Jaundice & inflammation of the liver. Related symptoms, as in anaemia, bile duct obstruction. Pneumonia, yellowing, dark urine due to bile, constipation & oedema.

Ingredients:

1. Cardus Mar 6C – Acute and chronic hepatitis. Urine deep yellow due to jaundice. Stools alternate between diarrhoea & constipation.
2. Chelidonium 6C / 30C – Acute stage hepatitis showing prominent jaundice. Stiffness & pain over right scapular area. Strong yellow discoloration of visible mucous membranes. Obstruction of bile ducts – gallbladder.
3. China 30C – The animal is debilitated / fatigued, trembling with weakness in the extremities. Affects liver, spleen – Anaemia.
4. Chionanthus 30C – Prominent liver remedy – disturbance of normal hepatic functionality – enlarged spleen – gallstones – emaciation & hypertrophy of the liver; enlarged, jaundiced and constipated. Stools clay coloured & undigested. Urine almost black. Pancreatic disease – rapid loss of condition.
5. Cholestirinum 6C – Hepatic engorgement – jaundiced. Gallstone formation. Cancer of the liver.
6. Leptandra 6C – Jaundiced – tongue coated yellow. Bowel haemorrhage. Foul smelling black stools.
7. Magnesia Muriatica 30C – Chronic liver afflictions – enlargement with difficulty urinating & constipation.
8. Phosphorous 200C – Acute hepatitis. Stools whitish, soft or hard – jaundiced with blood in the urine.

Dosage: Give 5-10 pillules three times daily till improvement seen, then reduce to twice daily for a week or two and ultimately once daily long term, in chronic cases.

Footnote: In young foals with hepatitis, there is invariably associated Herpes Virus infection, leading to subsequent jaundice & anaemia, so the HERPES NOSODE 30C should be administered in conjunction, once daily x 1 week.
