Indications

This is a homoeopathic medicine which assists the body in recovering from loss of blood and assists in the treatment of:
Nosebleeds (epistaxis)
Heavy menstruation (menorrhagia)
Pre-diagnosed bleeding haemorrhoids – This medicine is an adjuvant for treatment of bleeding haemorrhoids and may be used to complement existing medication for the treatment of this condition

Homoeopathic Mode of Action

Aconitum napellus helps treat bleeding of acute onset with rapid loss of vital strength

Cinchona succirubra is indicated for easy bleeding from the nose, especially on rising. It also restores vitality after loss of blood

Erigeron canadense has an anti-haemorrhagic effect and especially helps treat loss of profuse, bright red blood

Ferrum phosphoricum forms a vital component of red blood cells, enabling more oxygen to be supplied to the vital organs of the body. It also has an anti-inflammatory action and may help stop sudden, minor bleeding

Hamamelis virginiana acts on the blood vessel walls and helps prevent and treat passive venous haemorrhage, including profuse bleeding from the nose (epistaxis)

Hepar sulphuris calcareum treats abnormal blood flow from the uterus

Secale cornutum acts on the muscular walls of the blood vessels to help prevent and treat persistent haemorrhage that leads to anaemia and lowered blood pressure

Sepia officinalis assists in the treatment of menses that are premature and profuse (menorrhagia)

Ustilago maydis is indicated for abnormal, minor bleeding from the uterus

Dosage and Directions for use

10 drops directly on the tongue or diluted in a little water three times daily. May be taken hourly in acute cases while symptoms are severe. Reduce dosage with improvement of symptoms.
