The peppermint oil capsules from Buscomint® are surrounded by a special coating which helps the peppermint oil travel past the stomach to the intestine, where it noticeably relaxes and calms the intestinal smooth muscles by blocking the influx of calcium into the muscle cells.
In this way, Buscomint® works against abdominal pain, cramps in the gastrointestinal tract. The antifoaming effect of Buscomint also helps to reduce bloating and flatulence.
Dosage:
For children age 12+ (who weigh at least 40kg) and adults: take 1 capsule 3 times a day. Take until symptoms resolve, usually within 1-2 weeks. Talk to your doctor if you feel worse, or do not feel better after 2 weeks.
If symptoms persist, the capsules can be continued for a period of up to 3 months per treatment course.
