Description

Bioharmony® Saw Palmetto helps support healthy urine flow and may help promote healthy prostate function and improve the urologic symptoms associated with mild benign enlargement of the prostate (BEP).

Each Bioharmony® Saw Palmetto capsule contains:

• Saw fruit extract (Serenoa repens) 500 mg
• Excipients: Gelatine (Bovine source) capsules, magnesium stearate and starch – Not suitable for Vegetarians.
• Sugar Free
• Contains no preservatives, artificial colourants or flavourants.

Adult men:  Take one capsule twice a day with food, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Unless otherwise prescribed, do not exceed the stated doses.

It is recommended that you always follow dosage directions and discontinue use should you notice or experience any undesirable side effects or are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

The use of Bioharmony® Saw Palmetto is contraindicated in patients with hepatic disease or who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

This product may theoretically increase bleeding risk and caution is advised in people who have bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers, active bleeding, and prior to dental or surgical procedures.

It is recommended that use of the product should be stopped two weeks before elective surgery.

No studies on the effect on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.

Do not use with warfarin or any other anticoagulant medication except under practitioner supervision.

If symptoms persist or worsen, or if symptoms such as blood in the urine, painful urination or urinary retention occur, consult your doctor or registered healthcare professional.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Frequent: gastrointestinal disturbances, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, decreased libido and rhinitis.

Less frequent: acute hepatitis, skin rash and oedema .

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF TREATMENT:

An overdose may intensify the listed side effects and include nausea and vomiting. Discontinue use and consult a doctor or other registered healthcare professional immediately.
